This slitting line is suitable for slitting steel, aluminum, stainless steel coils, or other metal strips with a maximum width of 1650mm and a maximum thickness of 3mm.
1.General Description :
- Uncoiler/Decoiler: Supports and unwinds the master coil. May include a loading car, hydraulic expanding mandrel, etc.
- Peeler/Leveler: Removes coil set (curvature) from the material, providing a flat lead end for slitting.
- Slitting Head (Double slitter stands):
Rotary Slitter: Houses multiple sets of paired upper and lower arbors with slitter knives, which perform the actual cutting. Knife clearance can be adjusted based on thickness.
Spacers: Critical precision components that determine the slit strip width.
- Separator Unit: After slitting, separates the strips which are pressed together to prevent scratching.
- Tension Control System: Provides constant tension during recoiling to ensure tight and neat rewound coils.
- Recoiler : Rewinds the multiple slit narrow strips into individual coils.
- Unloading Cart: Removes the finished coils from the recoiler.
- 2-arm Turnstile: Temporarily storage for bady coils.
- Electrical & Control System: PLC-controlled with a touch-screen HMI for setting parameters, controlling speed, and monitoring line operation.
