Features of LMS cut to length line:

LMS Machinery CTL Lines are equipped with advanced technologies allowing for precise and efficient production in modern metal industry. Additionally, some CTL Lines incorporate rotary shears, which provide flexibility in making precise cuts.

High-quality Leveling machine features individually universal joist driven work rolls, cooperated with back-up rolls, classified as a 4-hi or 6-hi leveler. The lift and tilt of the upper rolls can be automatically adjusted and the data displayed on the screen. This helps in improving flatness and minimizing differential stresses, which is essential for maintaining quality across different materials and thicknesses.

Advanced Shearing Technology of cut-to length provides high efficiency and exact cutting accuracy, especially when dealing with large-scale metal sheet production. Utilizing different servo control system, shearing types could be defined as start-stop crosscut, continuously rotary shear, dynamic flying shear. Regarding cutting geometric, it develops to trapezoidal swing shear and multi-blanking line. All the shearing types mentioned above have demonstrated excellent performance in specific industries.

Consists of steel coil cut to length line:

A steel coil cut-to-length line (CTL Line) is a specialized metal processing system designed to convert large coils of metal into  custom-sized sheets or blanks. This process involves several key steps: uncoiling the metal from the coil, flattening it, cutting it to the desired length, and then stacking the cut pieces.

√ Maintains a constant tension in generator mode
√ Provides motor-driven support of feeding.
√ Applicable for different tension levels
√ Different coil diameters Φ480㎜~Φ520㎜~sleeve Φ620㎜
√ Single decoiler or double cones decoiler is available.
√ Outboard bearing support is provided for single decoiler

EDGE TRIMMING
√ To remove a few millimeters of incorrect strip.

CUT TO LENGTH
LMS Machinery offers different types of shearing line:
1.Rotary shear
Continuous (non-stop,allowing for continuous movement of the strip through the machine) cutting speed up to 90mpm is suitable for producing light gauge metal sheet in large-scale batches without need for looping pit.
2.Flying shear
Continuous (non-stop, allowing for forth-back movement of the shearer) cutting speed up to 40~60mpm is suitable for producing middle gauge metal sheet in large-scale batches without need for looping pit.
3.Start-Stop shear
The start-stop crosscut method extensively relies on a hydraulic shear with a loop pit to achieve a work speed of up to 20-50 meters per minute. This cutting process is capable of handling metal thickness ranging from 0.3mm to 25mm.
4.Trapezoidal swing shear
The swing shear allows for cutting trapezoidal blanks mainly used in the automotive or appliance industry. Rotary shear or start-stop shear is optional to design for different cutting speed.
5.Multi-blanking line
Multi-Blanking is a useful time-saving process in which multiple blanks of different or equal widths with the same lengths are produced and stacked from a flat rolled master coil. This process combines slit-to-width and cut-to-length processes, resulting in cost-efficient custom slit blanks or sheets from a single metal coil.

6.Combine slitting & cut-to-length line
Combining slitting and cut-to-length lines into a single production line, users can choose to produce slit coil or metal sheet on one production line. With the ability to switch between slitting and cut-to-length operations seamlessly, this versatile production line offers flexibility and convenience for various manufacturing needs.

STACKING SYSTEM
√ Sheet Collecting Manipulator.
√ Single-side beater&tail beater.
√ High-pressure blower to buffer the sheet descending.
√ Avoiding sheet-to-sheet collisions.
√ Stacked in compact and square packages.
√ Single stacker or double stacker available.

COMPLEMENTARY MACHINES AND TOOLINGS :
√ Storage saddle
√ Coil car / trolley
√ Paper Recoiler.
√ Automatic Plastic Film Applicator.

Industry Applications:
Automotive applications
The levelling and cut to length lines for automotive applications are specially designed to meet the surface quality requirements and tight sheet size tolerances demanded by automotive sector. Typical thicknesses range from 0.3 to 3.5 mm, while the material processed is both steel and aluminium, including high strength.

For Heavy gauge thickness
Cut to length lines for hot-rolled high-strength steels are becoming increasingly popular in recent years, due to the growing demand for heavy sheet metal for structural applications, wagons, ships, etc. These lines also make use of the patented TDDS® system developed by FIMI for its levellers to gently remove internal material tension. In some special cases requested by customers, an in-line Skin Pass Mill can be added to the line to increase surface quality.

Aluminium, Copper and Brass
These type of cut to length lines, both for thin and thick aluminium, are often characterised by machines, devices and technical solutions particularly dedicated to the nature of this metal, the way it is produced in upstream processes and its fields of application.
